World War II veteran Wallace Winkie tells Belle Plaine 
High School students about his early experiences with 
the Red Bull 34th Infantry Division as they prepare 
for war. 



Harold Bartz, WWII veteran, relates his D-Day experiences to high school students. Mr. Bartz went to Fort Des Moines and enlisted in September of 1940. The 6th Division later moved to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Mr. Bartz served in the European theater.




Mr. Scheetz joined the Navy in August of 1942. He served in the Pacific.
